Our Website Launch

We can’t believe it’s been over a year since our last blog post, but with the more demanding parts of life and business competing for the top spots on our priority lists, it becomes too easy to let our story quietly simmer on the back burner. We hope to change that because the story that’s unraveling daily is a beautiful one and such a driving force behind everything we’re doing.

It felt only appropriate to relaunch the blog today under these particular circumstances, a ribbon cutting ceremony of sorts, as we unveil our brand new site (!). Our website overhaul has been months and months in the making and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how it’s come together. We can’t even begin to tell you how satisfying it is to have a custom-built website that’s been crafted and tailored to our specific aesthetic and operational needs, a space that fully encompasses the feeling we hope Our Heiday evokes.

We’ve spent hours perfecting every detail with our developers - should we use a sans serif font here? maybe a slightly thicker padding around the photos? Just a half a millimeter to the left, please - because, as always, we believe the smallest details make all the difference. We wanted to create an inviting, seamless experience for all of you so that whether you’re shopping or simply perusing, navigating the site feels effortless.

One day, we’d love to have a brick-and-mortar shop that we can invite you all to. You can be sure we’ll obsess over paint colors and tile patterns and foliage arrangements so that when we open our doors, it’ll also be a space that fully encompasses the feeling we hope Our Heiday evokes - warmth and light and authenticity. If we’ve learned anything this season, it’s that the right things will happen in their right time, so until we can (hopefully) bring you into our physical storefront and greet you with hugs and hellos, we’d love to invite you to our digital space.
