Patricia Shen started this adventure after leaving two years of law school at UCLA, deciding that she couldn't commit her life to an endless cycle of reading briefs or contracts. So she did what all creatively-stifled, ex-law students do and started a stationery brand. With no formal art training, Patricia whipped together her first collection out of her downtown Los Angeles loft that she shares with her husband and pup and launched the company in June 2014. Our Heiday has since expanded to a small team based in the Arts District of Los Angeles with a line that includes stationery, art prints, and gift wrap. We focus on doing what we do with light, love, and integrity, from the initial design to the final packaging, because our customers matter. We like a lotta bit of sentiment, sophistication and spunk and we're constantly seeking new ways to refine the conversation we're having with all of you. Our Heiday has been featured on Design*Sponge, DesignLoveFest, Stationery Trends Magazine, Oh So Beautiful Paper, and The Paper Chronicles and has collaborated with brands and influencers such as Splendid and Chriselle Lim.
Our Heiday (a play on "heyday") is named after Patricia's mom and her four aunts who fostered all of her creativity growing up. All of their Korean names begin with “Hei” and together they’ve shown her how every day can be full of color and intention.
Thanks so much for being here, for rooting for us near and far. We would not be running without you.
