We create elevated goods in pursuit of a more beautiful and connected world. Our collections are designed to help us connect deeper with our community and ourselves, through the written word, a beautifully wrapped gift, or more time gathering around the kitchen at home.
Our Founder
Pat Shen launched Our Heiday’s first collection in 2014 after leaving two years of law school behind. With no formal art training and desperation for a creative release, she pursued her love of design organically, picking up a paintbrush for the first time in ten years. From that first collection in her downtown LA apartment, Our Heiday quickly became known for its painterly and warm, yet refined and modern aesthetic - the ability to merge beauty and connection.
Heiday (a play on "heyday") is named after Pat's mom and her four aunts whose Korean names all begin with "Hei." She's so grateful to their father, her grandfather, who encouraged and fostered the arts, building a painting room in their home - a rare pursuit in post-war Korea. Together, they've exemplified how love gives, conviction sustains, and creativity is a requisite to living.
Our Locations
Our Heiday can be found in small shops throughout the country and select shops internationally, including our very own brick and mortar, Sidebloom, which opened in 2022. Corporate partnerships have included collections at Anthropologie, Paper Source, and Blue Sky planners at Target nationwide. Our Heiday is proudly a woman-owned and women-led company with an amazing, small team based in Glendale, CA.
