Home Is Campaign: An Update!

The Beat

It’s been a while since we've chatted here about our Home Is campaign, which we wrapped up at the end of 2015, so we wanted to give you a brief update! We loved the opportunity to partner with some of you to contribute to LAMP’s mission to provide immediate, permanent housing for LA’s most vulnerable homeless population. While we didn’t quite meet our goal of selling 50 prints in 50 days, we were so thankful to be able to donate our pledged amount at the end of the campaign. Thank you so much to all who purchased a print! Every sale felt like a mini celebration at Our Heiday studio and we hope that yours is sitting cozy on a mantle or contributing to a wall gallery and that it reminds of you the gift of home :)

We also donated a handful of the Home Is prints to LAMP Community and they’ve included them in their “Welcome Home” gift baskets for people moving into permanent housing. We love that we got to be a part of that in this small way. LAMP is doing such amazing work in DTLA, which has the largest concentration of homeless people in the country - just a few blocks from our neck of the woods. Thanks so much for coming alongside us as we learn to love our neighbors well and remember that living generously is at the heart of what we do.
