Chocolate Crinkle Cookies, Mother Teresa, & Copper Accents

Happy Friday-Before-Christmas!

Currently: Plowing through our last full work week of the year and so excited for the holidays!!

This week we’re…

  • Feasting on these perfect Chocolate Crinkle Cookies by Serious Eats. When it comes to cookies, we’re team crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside all the way! The crackles on these tell you exactly what you’re in for (deliciousness) and the dusting of powdered sugar make them perfectly festive for Christmas dessert.

  • Reflecting on Mother Teresa being canonized as a saint by Pope Francis in 2016. Finally, a headline worth celebrating! In the midst of all the fear and frustration circling the news lately, it’s a timely and beautiful reminder of true good in the world. Mother Teresa gave herself to serving the most destitute populations in Calcutta, India and described herself as a “citizen of the world” - such an appropriate reminder for us as we try to make sense of the climate our world is in.
  • Inspired by copper accents. The pop that copper adds to anything is always a fresh step away from all the gold we see (& equally love). Just as happy as it makes us to see it on paper, copper accents in the workspace can make things feel a little more chic, a little more grown-up. It’s cool without being sterile and just a tad of glimmer goes a long way.

Enjoy your weekend, everyone! Hope it's filled to the brim with friends, family, & festivities.
